SunSprouts is a SQF Level 2000 certified fresh produce supplier. We are also a part of the ISGA (http://www.isga-sprouts.org/) and we follow the strict standards and requirements set forth by them, as well as the FDA, which includes Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Our commitment to food safety includes a comprehensive program containing fully developed programs such as SunSprouts':
Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP)
Food Security and Bioterrorism Program
Environmental Monitoring Program
Prerequisites for these programs include but are not limited to:
Employee Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)
Pest control Internal audits
Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP's) and SOP's
A master cleaning and maintenance program
SunSprouts facility is audited regularly by third-party auditing firms as well as Federal, state, and local government agencies.

We at Sunsprouts scrupulously follow the FDA guideline for hold and release testing and sanitation of seed. We operate under a HACCP program to minimize any hazards or risks associated with sprout production. There is also a microbiological testing program in place which includes 'hold and release' for all our sprouts. Our management and staff are committed to food safety.
